I am taking this opportunity to commend to you the firm of Opco Tours and Travel, under the management of Mr. Carlos Silva.
During the period October 14-19, 2007, Mr. Silva’s company provided truly outstanding and professional service in support of a large delegation of investors, nearly 80 people in total, representing one of the most powerful investment groups in the world.
In the months leading up to this conference, Mr. Silva successfully competed with another Brazilian destination management company for the business, providing excellent information on accommodations and tours in a manner that clearly indicated his company’s superior potential for handling a group of this size and importance.
Upon winning the business, Opco never let down. Mr. Silva’s staff worked tirelessly to answer questions, provide cost data, coordinate with hotels and ground and air transport companies, organize group agendas, coordinate arrivals and departures, and the list goes on. Mr. Silva and his staff were on the scene at all times, day or night, under some very difficult conditions. Even despite the insertion of a Seattle-based logistics management company, which created untold difficulties and generated tons of extra email, Opco kept a positive attitude and worked through the problems.
Without reservation, I highly recommend Mr. Silva and Opco for their professionalism, diligence, positivity, and perseverance. It is hard to imagine a better company in the travel management business. It was truly a pleasure to work with this company.
