The Itamambuca Eco Resort is located in the middle of a natural preservation area that is considered the 4th best-preserved area of Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Rain Forest) in Brazil. This natural sanctuary shelters around 250 species of native birds such as woodpeckers, toucans, and hummingbirds. It is also easy to find sylvan animals of unique beauty: armadillos, squirrels, and lizards move peacefully in the hotel surroundings. Along the Itamambuca River shore, you can see the abundance of species that live in the mangrove: there are about 15 different species of crabs; including guaiamus - exotic blue crabs. There's also marine diversity: fish, turtles and crustaceans, complete this typically tropical landscape. The Itamambuca Eco Resort organizes ecological tours, monitored by biologists, to get our visitors close to this natural beauty. |

There are also options for those who prefer the adventurous style, without leaving comfort aside. The camping area is located in the woods, by the side of the Itamambuca River, and it offers full infrastructure for camping lovers.
