Tiwa Ecoresort - a new lodge in the Amazon - situated 10 km from Manaus, on the banks of the Rio Negro (40 min by boat from the pier of Tropical Manaus Hotel). Surrounded by its own grounds of more than 2 km², the lodge is built around a beautiful natural lake that is surrounded by tropical rainforest. Tiwa Ecoresort offers a lovely wide sandy beach along the river and in front of the resort and the whole complex is part of an eco park with a real tropical jungle, and guests activities includes - jungle treks, survival tours, an eco tour, a treetop tour, rock climbing and sailing, outdoor games in the nature of the tropics, introduction into and lessons in Native Amazon crafts and customs, nature photography and film. |

Rooms
The Ecoresort has 52 apartments, distributed over 26 bungalows. The apartment entrance, porch and bathrooms are completely independent. All apartments have international standard box spring beds with mosquito-net, air-conditioning, luxurious bathrooms with hot shower, high spacious rooms, 2nd floor for a 3rd bed or two children, large balcony/outdoor veranda overseeing the lake. The Apartments are built to hear natural sounds of the nature surrounding the resort.
Electricity is provided through generators 24 hours a day. Regularly during the week the hotel will have maintenance hours of maximum 2 hours.
