The Party - Informal dressing 

The Brazilian Night is scheduled for Thursday - May 29th, 2008 from 20:00h to 01:00h, and it will happen in the City of Samba that is localized in Downtown of Rio de Janeiro. Backed by the Rio de Janeiro Mayor’s Office which built Brazil’s largest art and entertainment complex the Samba Schools are proud to present the making-of the greatest show on earth. Located in the dock lands of Rio, "Cidade do Samba" (City of Samba), clusters together the costumes workshops and float production centers of the largest Samba Schools in Brazil. This entertainment complex is planned to offer visitors all the grassroots charm and excitement of Carnival throughout the year, enjoying the magic of the festivities that make Rio de Janeiro the world’s party capital. 

It will be a night full of great moments and fun including lots of Samba, Dancing, Beautiful mulatas, beers and Caipirinhas (Brazilian alcoholic beverage made with Lemon and Cachaça) where you will not only be an spectator, but someone who is REALLY making part of everything. After the show, visitors dress up in real Carnival costumes and dance along to the pounding beat of the bateria percussion section, taking part in a real parade, just like the in the Sambadrome!
