Registered as Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, Ouro Preto is a masterpiece of colonial architecture and stage of the Brazilian Mining Inconfidencia. In its churches and museums are exposed primary baroque works of Athayde and Aleijadinho. The Baroque of Ouro Preto, unlike the coastal cities of the Brazilian Baroque, can be seen as typically Brazilian. Historically, in the course of that century, there were libertarian movements inspired by Enlightenment ideas and the example of the American Revolution, as in Inconfidência Mining. The package
